This is one of only a small number of original fuel injected 1957 Corvette survivors, and one of the most highly collected cars in the classic car world. The 283/283 horsepower fuel injected engine was the highest displacement available for 1957 and this one has it. This classic Corvette features the original engine block and fuel injection system with only 200 miles since complete rebuild.
This corvette is originally from Southern California (black plates come with the car) and was placed in storage by the previous owner in the early 90's. Prior to being placed in storage the power train was completely rebuilt. When we brought the car out of storage we had it professionally restarted. The car runs and drives great and the brakes were gone through to make sure they are in good working order.
This car is painted in Venetian Red with white coves. The interior is a two-tone Venetian red and white with a newer Hurst shifter. The wide white wall bias tires and original hubcaps are in still in very good condition. This Corvette is in overall #2.5 condition. It comes with the hardtop (soft-top not included). Car is missing the distributor shroud, and the fan shroud has been chromed. Car has the original taillights in good condition but currently has 1958 taillights that were put on before it went into storage. This car would not be considered a frame-off restoration but a very nice older restoration.
* Please note these cars are previously featured classics between the years 2000-2005. They are for your viewing pleasure and not available for sale.
